Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT project manager, experience with ITILv3 methodologies and MS Project
  • Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002
  • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certifications preferred
  • Secret Clearance

Knowledge

  • Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
  • Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment.
  • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
  • IT staffing and management

Knowledge:

  • Strong people skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills and have a history of success with customer facing environments.
  • Hands on experience with SharePoint 2010/2013, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, SQL Server 2008 R2
  • Hands on experience with SharePoint Object Model, Visual Studio Workflows, Master Pages, custom Site Templates, List Templates, Event Receivers, Timer Jobs, Site and Application Pages, WebParts
  • Thorough understanding of SharePoint development practices and standards
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom components required for Portal sites and Team Sites(master pages, workflows, InfoPath forms, web etc.).
  • Must have experience creating and using data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and branding customization.
  • Candidate must be able to design and develop workflows (OOTB, custom workflows using SharePoint Designer, Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks)
  • Strong knowledge of the development process for enterprise applications leveraging SharePoint using OOTB SharePoint features and functionality
  • Must have some web development experience (C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX).
  • Understanding of SharePoint farm configuration, architecture, and installation of Application Services such as Search, Excel, PerformancePoint, Managed Metadata, Business Connectivity, User Profile etc.
  • Prefer knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint / PeopleSoft HR hooks / modules
