Job Description

Provide all Network Administration & IA Management support to HQ PACAF necessary to operate, maintain, and modernize PACAF's Virtual Desktop Environment capability.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Information Assurance Manager (IAM). 

 

  • IAM (Level I) duties IAW DoD 8570.01-M and duties outlined in DoD 8570.01- M
  • Develop, maintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP)
  • Conduct a security review, annual security test, and provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO), System Admin training.
  • Develop required C&A artifacts to meet required DoD compliance to include: risk management plan, configuration management plan, and vulnerability (patch) management plan.

 

Coalition Base Configuration Management. 

 

  • Ensure all hardware and software is online and able to be remotely managed by enterprise personnel.
  • Perform administrative actions within DISA technical guidance and in compliance with DISA STIG.
  • Identify risk areas and recommend mitigation strategies for each finding. 
  • Support DISA requests for information about the configuration of deployed hardware, to include C&A documentation gathering and development. 
  • Provide installation support, operation, administration, and maintenance of network components identified in the table below.

Job Requirements

  • IAT Level II/IAM Level I (e.g. CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent),
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent) certificate
  • (5) years of knowledge and experience as a Network Engineer via a resume or other certificates.

 

Location:              Hickam AFB

Travel:                  May require Scheduled Travel to support PACAF bases within the Pacific AOR

Clearance:           Active DoD Secret Clearance - Must be a U.S. Citizen

Hours:                   M – F (8am – 4:30pm)
