Job Description

Vintun LLC is seeking an ITIL Version 3 practitioner to help our client achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery and support of IT services.  The candidate will be part of a team that collects job task data and evaluates and reports findings based on industry best practices.   Assist customer in the review and evaluation of Service Operations functions including Event Management, Incident management, Problem Management, Access Management, Service Desk, Technical Management, Application Management and Operations Management. Identify risks or issues in the execution of Service Operations functions and provide mitigation recommendations. Identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery and support of services. Provide recommendations to implement enhancements while maintaining current Service Operations levels.  This role includes interviewing onsite service operations leads, conducting comparative analysis with job tasks and industry best practices, and reporting findings using analytical methods.  The environment is oriented towards regional, IT delivery organizations. 

Candidates should have experience with the below tasks

  • Provide ITIL-based Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) knowledge and expertise to government customers and stakeholders in support of the Marine Corps’ service management environment
  • Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of the Marine Corps’ service management environment
  • Communicate and partner with Marine Corps service owners and managers on service management process improvement(s)
  • Facilitate and participate in appropriate Marine Corps service management forums and meetings

Job Requirements


  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Marine Corps information technology service managers and service owners
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex ideas with stakeholders and building collaborative relationships with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and efforts with minimum guidance
  • ITIL Foundations v3 (preference given for additional ITIL certification levels such as Expert)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Productivity suite skills
  • BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, or relevant discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in ITSM environments
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
  • 15 Years of related experience may be substituted for the BS or BA degree requirement


Security Clearance: All personnel must have an active Secret security clearance.
