Responsibilities:

KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing team.  As a Financial Analyst, you will directly support the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA) on the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) support team. Responsible for the development of key deliverables such as: Pre-Analysis Plan, Market Research Plan, Financial Analysis Plan, and final Economic Analysis Results.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 12 years financial experience. Experience shall include: Developing plans, and budgets to meet contractual requirements for a portion of a program. Creating, maintaining, and updating financial databases and spreadsheets, and generating various financial reports as required. Maintaining appropriate records and documentation. Producing financial models, applying forecasting techniques, and evaluating performance against budget submissions. Developing approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution. Completing economic analyses and business cases to drive informed decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years financial experience in developing plans, and budgets to meet contractual requirements.
  • S. Citizen capable of passing a NACI background investigation.
  • Must have experience in creating, maintaining and updating financial databases and spreadsheets and generating both scheduled and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Must have experience and understanding of the maintenance of appropriate records and documentation and producing financial models by applying forecasting techniques and evaluating performance against budget submissions.
  • Experience with completion of economic analyses and business cases to drive informed decisions.
  • Must be capable of travel to client site for meetings as required.
  • Experience with financial automated systems to process accounting transactions.
  • Experience with analyzing and resolving complex issues related to financial management.
  • Must be capable of developing techniques for improving program, planning, control and execution, and be proficient with problem solving skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, works well in a team environment.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance or Economics.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DOEHRS-IH System Experience
  • Knowledge or experience working with government clients, particularly DoD, is a plus.
  • Familiar with Government guidance and best practices to ensure results comply with key guidance and directives such as OMB Circular A-94.
