Job Description

  • Lead the full data life cycle of a project through requirement identification, prototyping, design, development, testing, and implementation using state of the art data analytics and machine learning tools to create solutions for challenging problems for clients in both government and industry.
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis using disparate data sets from multiple sources to brief stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document data patterns to draw meaningful insights for management and clients.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests in a continually changing operational environment.
  • Establish and maintain standards in advanced analytics to ensure universal quality across teams and projects.
  • Develop, test, and implement new data quality and modeling solutions.
  • Become the subject matter expert for a project to deliver quality data to clients.
  • Participate in ongoing product research and development to provide clients with first-rate data analytics solutions.
  • Mentor junior level data analysts to support the team’s continued growth.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data-driven decision-making mentality.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Project with the ability to generate data visualizations.
  • High proficiency with software tools used for business analytics, data analysis, and visualization such as Tableau, PowerPivot, PowerBI, or Access.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Excellent data collection and analytical skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Ability to work closely in a leading and/or collaborative role with other team members or operate independently as required by a project.
    • Ability to work effectively in a continuously changing operational environment with short deadlines.
    • Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems utilizing a team of data analysts.
    • Ability to present information to key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and efficient manner.
    • Ability to quickly learn complex application systems and evolving business processes while maintaining a detailed understanding of the fundamental data model.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze data of varying complexity, including sensitivity analyses, predictive analyses, and trends analyses.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, i.e. Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
  • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, including data process modeling, procedures, and implementation.
