Job Description

Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department. Verifies accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records including detailing financial business transactions (e.g., invoice approvals, disbursements, expense vouchers, and wire payments). Provides customer service support to internal clients, suppliers, and customers. Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs; compiles data and prepares a variety of reports. May reconcile bank and financial statements/reports. Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies. Assist with other duties assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting or other business-related field
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of government and general accounting practices
  • Active knowledge of the Deltek CostPoint accounting software
  • Experience with Deltek Time & Expense and Cognos software
  • Professional knowledge of the DFAR, FAR, WAWF and CAS policies and procedures
  • Preferred knowledge of 8(a), NHO-Native Hawaiian Organization, ANC-Alaskan Native Corporation and Small Business type corporations
