Na ‘Oiwi Kane, founded in 2001, established an endowment through its controlling interest in several for-profit companies. These funds have been used to empower native Hawaiians through programs and projects focusing on transferring the skills, values, and practices of the traditional Hawaiian way of life to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our goal is to continue to grow the reach of our programs and projects to strengthen the native Hawaiian community.
Since 2006 Na ‘Oiwi Kane has provided funding to Partners in Development Foundation, an IRC section 501 (c)(3) organization already engaged in managing social programs benefiting Native Hawaiians, to support and develop programs and projects to make a lasting impact on at-risk Native Hawaiian youths, with a focus on those from fatherless households.
